From our very first inquiry, the Walters Wedding Estates team at The Olana Design Center impressed us with their exceptional service. We were immediately drawn to the venue's unique aesthetic, a refreshing departure from the typical DFW farmhouse scene, reminiscent of a charming European street. Booking for our April 2025 wedding in June 2024, while the venue was still under construction, was a bit nerve-wracking. However, the team's patience and thorough answers to all our questions were incredibly reassuring.

Our experience only improved when we were paired with our initial wedding coordinator, Kayla. She was phenomenal, consistently going above and beyond to help us bring our vision to life. As first-time wedding planners, her guidance and support were invaluable, making the entire process feel less daunting. We truly appreciated her proactive updates on the venue's construction progress.

Even with Kayla's transition to a new role, the handoff to our new coordinator/ wedding planner, Maddie, was seamless. Maddie has already proven to be just as dedicated and understanding, taking the time to truly grasp our vision and providing further reassurance as we approach our wedding day.

The venue itself is stunning. The Olana Design Center is truly a gem, offering a more accessible option for those who admire the grandeur of The Olana. The attention to detail in its design is remarkable, creating an atmosphere that feels both elegant and intimate.

The only minor point of feedback we have, which we want to emphasize was likely more on our end than anything, is that there were a few instances where we needed clarification on pricing. Some aspects were a bit confusing at first, and we wanted to ensure we had a complete understanding. However, the team was always responsive and helpful in addressing our questions.

With just a few days until our wedding, we are filled with excitement and anticipation. The Olana Design Center and its incredible team have made this journey truly special, and we can't wait to see our vision come to life in this breathtaking space. The Olana Design Center hosted my company’s happy hour and Casino night event in February and it was lovely. The reception hall was spacious and easily accommodated table seating and all the casino activities. The food and drinks were exactly as I had requested, the flowers were more beautiful than I ever expected (and they added casino themed accents for me), and the DJ worked with me to customize a good play list that kept the party going. Walters helped with planning a spectacular event and then made sure it really happened! My guests also loved the unique look and feel of the Design Center. I’m so happy I hosted my party here.

We began planning with Kayla B. about 6 months prior to our wedding day. From the first day, I knew she had our best interest in mind. Not only is she extremely detail oriented, she is also efficient and an excellent communicator. I knew nothing about planning a wedding, and Kayla truly led us through it all. I cannot express how happy we are to have had Kayla as our wedding planner. I’m writing this review from the beach in Mayakoba, because this is how stress free Kayla made our wedding day feel.
