My name is Alyssa, and I would love to work with you for your wedding dance!

I really believe your first dance is one of the most important and memorable moments of your reception. 80% of couples did a first dance in 2023 so it's important to give it the attention it deserves. We spend so much time with all sorts of other details for the wedding that sometimes we neglect the most important part and why everyone is there - YOU!

You wouldn't want to go to work or class with an unprepared presentation, so similarly, you don't want to show up at your reception with an unprepared dance and just sway side to side. Trust me, you will feel so much better and more confident to have something ready to go for your first dance! I created my business, The Movement Factory - a dance and Pilates business - in 2012. I have been dancing since I was three years old and received my MFA (Masters in Fine Arts) in choreography and dance performance in California. I have been teaching dance since I was 16 years old and have literally taught thousands of people how to dance in Ohio, California, and beyond. I have specifically been creating wedding dances for over 12+ years, and I LOVE creating special moments for couples and their guests! I am also currently engaged, so I understand firsthand what you are going through and how important this moment will be for you! I can help make your special day even more memorable through dance. Through our lessons, I promise you will look good on the dance floor on your wedding day! I offer lessons designed for beginners up to more experienced dancers. I have experience with dancers of all levels and ages. I work with brides, grooms, families, and all couples to create a custom dance that fits your wedding with sessions that work and fit your schedule. If you have a special song already selected that you want a choreographed dance to, I can create that for you and customize it to make it as simple or as complex as you'd like! I can also help you if you and/or your partner are nervous about getting more comfortable for your wedding day! I also create beautiful and fun Father/Daughter dances, Mother/Son dances, or group dances. I can do any style of dance, and we can make it as elegant, fun, or in between as you would like! Our sessions would take place at a dance studio in Broadview Heights, Ohio, at an outdoor location on the West side of Cleveland, or virtually on Zoom. I am currently working with wedding couples 7 days a week!
