We chose a restaurant, The Living Room, in the North End because we wanted something different than the standard "hotel" or "function room" experience. What we got was AMAZING! The Living Room was all about us creating our own vision for the reception. They were very easygoing and flexible to work with throughout the process. Our eclectic space was the talk of the night by our wedding guests too; It was truly a "cocktail hour on steroids!". We were so happy with our experience :) THANK YOU!!

We had a kick off dinner for a capital campaign for our church. When we initially booked the space they were kind and open and assured us that because it was a Sunday we could use the entire space no problem. ( I can't recall the exact date of the event at this point, but the celtics got into the play offs) when that happened they were singing a different toon. When they realized there was potential of making more $$ than they could with us on a Sunday they tried to get us out of there A NIGHT BEFORE the event. Leaving us no time to plan. The young man who booked out event even said, "well it says on your itinerary you people will be praying. This isn't really a place for that." It was one prayer over dinner, and remember we are a church who just did a capital campaign. They knew we were a religious organization when they thought they were going to make more money on a Sunday than they would normally make, but when they realized they could make a bigger buck, all of a sudden they weren't "that kind of place." At the end we did have our event there. The staff who helped us were very nice. But we were charged for a desert we never had. I would never do business here again.
