About "The Hive" at Stone Mnt Lodge

Situated in Brownfield, Maine, The Hive Lake View at Stone Mountain Lodge is a retreat and wedding venue. The property is owned by Eric Braciska who operates four sites that serve as picturesque backdrops for events. He and the team love providing an outdoor refuge in the mountains for idyllic “I dos.” Since 2011, they have been offering couples a way to create a bespoke wedding on nature’s doorstep.

Facilities and Capacity

The Hive Lake View at Stone Mountain Lodge is suited to weddings with smaller to medium-sized guest lists. Tents can be set up on the property, ideal in the case of passing rain showers. There are numerous ceremony spots outside. Up to 50 guests can take a seat on log pews at Cascade Side which is near the gurgling brook. There is also the front lawn with a charming gazebo for vow exchanges. Or, with a five-minute hike, you and your partner can express your love and commitment at Ledge Side. The waterfront property boasts tremendous views of a majestic mountainscape of the peaks of Burnt Meadow Mountain and lapping waters below. You and a few guests can stay the night than in the comfortable lodging which can house 17 people.

The resort at The Hive Lake View at Stone Mountain Lodge has a number of items to help you decorate for your special day. This includes signage and decor suited to rustic-chic soirees. Yard games are also provided to keep your guests entertained and having a good time. A bar and dessert cart, all with a similar style to the rest of the decor, allows cakes and drinks to be served in style. The property offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy what nature has to offer, with kayaks, picnic tables, fire pits, and more. The property is pet friendly, so you can bring along your cat or dog to celebrate with you. It’s the kind of place sure to leave a lasting impression on your loved ones.
