The Elkridge Furnace Inn

The Elkridge Furnace Inn is a wedding venue in Elkridge, Maryland. The Furnace Complex is over twelve acres on state park property, situated on the banks of the Patapsco River; just south of the Baltimore Harbor with easy access to major routes and a convenient distance from BWI. Our Manor House dates to 1810 and boasts comfortable elegance with large Federal era windows and porches emphasizing the historic nature of the property and showcasing picturesque scenes. Our Celebration Lounge and Suite are the perfect place to change, relax, and share a toast during your complementary early arrival. The Ceremony Point is surrounded by nature, and a large pergola provides a dramatic entry for the bridal party procession. Every season has its charm for an outdoor ceremony, but we do have a Plan B for times when indoor ceremonies are necessary. Cocktail hour can take place inside the Manor House which features interior elements such as original flooring, black marble mantels and double-leaf doors. The main bar is in our Historic Kitchen, and guests are also free to make use of our grand but cozy front porch and beautiful yard. There is a unique space for every aspect of your Wedding Day. For over 25 years couples have made memories here to last a lifetime. If you are planning a more intimate wedding, we have recently added our Garden House venue. Perfect for guests of 70 or less, this space is situated in the middle of our organic gardens and greenhouse. In addition to small weddings, we also host rehearsal dinners and other celebrations in this space.

Facilities and Capacity

We can host up to 240 guests at our Manor House, and up to 70 guests in our Garden House venue. These permanent tented spaces come with comfortable flooring, chandeliers, and are climate controlled and handicap accessible.

The Elkridge Furnace Inn is a chef-owned venue dedicated to providing food of impeccable quality to each and every one of our guests. We pride ourselves on the quality of the food, which includes organic produce grown right on the property and locally sourced meats. We can accommodate special dietary needs and have extensive gluten-free options so that every guest feels safe and comfortable when they choose to dine with us.
