The Cross Eyed Moose Event Center is a multi-level party venue located in Homeworth, Ohio. This unique event venue is technically two venues in one, as the upper and lower levels can both be rented out together or individually to better serve every client's individual needs. Whether you’re looking for a location for a large wedding or reception, or space for a more intimate dinner party, this resort could be the ideal venue for you.
Facilities and Capacity
The beautifully-decorated upper level of the building features quaint hickory furniture, antler fixtures, and a stone-face, LED-lit bar area. With seating for up to 120 guests, the upper level of the venue is sure to create a fun atmosphere for any event. The lower level seats up to 80 people and provides plenty of Western-industrial flares and an 18-foot bar area, which includes a gas burning fireplace made of stone and a vintage Chevy front-end as a mantelpiece. In addition to these event spaces, The Cross Eyed Moose has a newly-renovated, 225-square-foot bridal dressing room available. Complete with vintage barn siding, crystal chandeliers, rusted metal, a ceiling made of license plates, and plenty of room and mirror space for the entire bridal party, this gorgeous bridal suite will make any bride’s day even more special.

The entire event center has been carefully designed and decorated to create an intimate and unique atmosphere that is sure to complement lifelong memories. Whether you’re looking for an intimate gathering in a private location or a large indoor wedding reception, this venue provides ample space to celebrate. The Cross Eyed Moose is able to offer a variety of wedding items and decor, including chairs, linens, tables, a chocolate fountain, aisle markers, arches, audio equipment, centerpieces, chair covers, a dance floor, furniture, lighting, and a photo booth. Along with full-service bar amenities, this venue is also able to provide their own servers and bartenders. Choose to celebrate your engagement party, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, or elopement here. Additionally, couples may rent out custom-layered burlap table covers and take advantage of the venue’s comprehensive list of caterers, DJs, photographers, bakers, motels, and more. Gorgeous venue, invaluable staff!
This venue drew me in with its unique style presence, and the gorgeous decor. I loved that it fit right in with what we wanted! There are so many conveniences to having your wedding here, and honestly after I got there for my rehearsal dinner on friday, I didnt have to leave! Staying on site allowed us to get everything done and still get a couple hours of shut eye. The rooms are adorable, too! The staff was completely amazing. As beautiful and wonderful as the venue was, it could have been a smoldering pile of ash and the staff would still make it worth a five star review. Jen was just invaluable to me. If it wasnt for her and the lovely hostess and bar tender, the day wouldnt have been as amazing as it was. If a problem occured, they handled it with grace and a smile. Jen was a total life saver and I couldnt have asked for anyone better! I could literally spend hours listing all of the small ways that I know she made my day run smoother but Im sure I dont know even a quarter of them! I would definitely recommend this venue!
