At the Chimneys at Big Canoe--a wedding venue located in Roswell, Georgia--you will get the opportunity to exchange your vows surrounded by the picturesque North Georgia mountains. This venue allows you and your guests to escape to a destination wedding site for both your ceremony and reception. This rustic setting adds a peaceful feel to any style or size wedding.
Facilities and Capacity
The Chimneys at Big Canoe is available all throughout the year so that couples can host their dream weddings in their favorite season. There are three main event rooms indoors that you can choose from. These spaces are highly flexible and can be modified to accommodate different seating arrangements, dancing, and buffet service. The style, which resembles a lodge building, still emits an elegant air. Couples can select the Tavern Room, which accommodates 70 seated, the Ivy Room, which accommodates 60 to 72, or the Buffet Room. Another indoor option is the Big Canoe Chapel. Because this space, which is situated down the road from the Chimneys, is not right next door, the team can shuttle you and your guests from one site to the other. For outdoor weddings, couples can move out to the wrap-around porch or the flagstone patio. In these spaces, you and your guests will have stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Sconti. After your ceremony and reception is over, you and your guests can extend your stay by choosing from the available private homes or cabins on the property. During your stay, you will be kept entertained with many activities on the property like golf, canoeing, swimming, and more.
Before you host your wedding at The Chimneys at Big Canoe, the team can provide you with event planning services to ensure everything will be perfect on your big day. In addition to shuttle service and valet, the property also contains plenty of parking, as well as wheelchair access.
The Chimneys at Big Canoe partners with Talk of the Town Catering & Special Events to provide couples with delicious cuisine on their special day. In addition to serving delightful fare, they can also provide you with necessities such as:

Amazing Mountain Venue!
Over a year ago I came across the Chimneys and noticed that there were no recent reviews. This made me a little nervous but I still made an appointment to go and take a look.Sent on 04/26/2019
This place is truly magical! My husband and I got married here this April during the peak of Cherry blossom season. The mountains provide an amazing back drop. The venue feels homey and the staff are truly amazing. We had a thunderstorm the day of the wedding and Kyle worked with us till the last minute to make sure our day was perfect! Even the weather jumped on board for a few hours for pictures and the ceremony.
Words can not describe how beautiful this place is. If you are looking for a mountain retreat, where all your friends and family can have a great, relaxing time, Big Canoe is where you need to go!
Kyle and her team really are rock stars!

The Chimneys at Big Canoe is an amazing venue, and they have a great all-inclusive wedding package. The venue strictly use Talk of the Town Catering, but let me just tell you the food is amazing and well priced. The venue also uses Winey Blonde Events for the day of coordinator. Planning my wedding at the Chimneys at Big Canoe was the best experience. Everyone was super friendly and very responsive and I couldn't of asked for a better team for my wedding. I couldn't of asked for a more perfect wedding day!Sent on 04/15/2018
