Alex Shum and the Brookside Violin Quartet provided a magical evening for my daughter's wedding. Her music choices were non traditional, ranging from the Lakme Flower Duet to West Side story to U2 and James Bond.

Guests flooded my mailbox with complements and praise.

Alex Shum put together a wonderful string quartet for our wedding. They performed during the ceremony and for an hour or so at our cocktail hour. I have not stopped receiving compliments. They sounded wonderful and played so well together. I worked with the group through e-mail and phone as they had been HIGHLY recommended and they showed up and did exactly as we had discussed. They looked professional, sounded great and really added so much to our wedding. I requested a song performed by Celine Dion for our candle lighting and they were able to play it and make it sound perfect. I would reccommend them to anyone who wants to have a string quartet for their wedding - they make the event so elegant and are definately a must!
