Vickers was once a stop on the Underground Railroad and the former farm house of Chester County’s most famous potter, John Vickers. Grand brass chandeliers illuminate the elegant ballroom that is outlined with custom millwork, adding a finished elegance to the space. Ten 6-foot windows scale the walls and are ornamented with plantation shutters to preserve the historic feel of the neighboring house while adding quiet grandeur. This is the perfect space for a regal reception or a farmhouse elegant fête.
The Plantation Ballroom hosts weddings and rehearsal dinners for up to 120 while the garden patio serves as the perfect outdoor space for cocktail hours and small onsite ceremonies.
Vickers serves traditional Continental cuisine with French influence.

Thank you Vickers for helping to make my wedding day magical! We had an amazing time I love this place-warm, rustic, elegant. Amanda you were really awesome. From planning the menu, to doing our gorgeous flowers, to arranging all of our vendors (I was freaking out about that one!) you heard what we wanted and pulled it off perfectly. When I woke up to rain on my wedding day ?? I feared how we would pull off the ceremony and cocktail hour. When I called in a panic it seemed no issue for the staff to quickly change our plans to inside and accommodate our guests and stage. Things were perfect and I will forever hold Vickers close to my heart. Thank you!
