Best wedding coordination and planning
We recently got married June 2019 and Courtney (Tenzer Events) was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. We had a few years between engagement and wedding, so it gave us some time to start planning or thinking about what we wanted. We connected with Courtney about 9 months prior to our wedding. Courtney was so receptive to what we wanted to do ourselves and what she could do to support us in the planning process. I really appreciated that she listened to what WE wanted to for our wedding and didn't tell us what to do. She definitely offered feedback where it was needed, but overall I feel like she helped bring my vision to life and not her version of it which I think is important in the wedding planning process. We also skipped some of the conventional practices and did some things a little differently, in making those less traditional choices Courtney was really supportive and pushed doing what we wanted (instead of what was expected of us). There are a lot of opinions in the wedding planning process so I appreciated her support when we decided on a few less traditional things.
In her initial meetings with us she provided a planning timeline, which she then updated and provided more detail on based on the conversations we had with her. I think what I appreciated the most was how she was able to let me run with the ideas or planning I wanted to do and fill in the gaps on things I didn't want to do (or didn't know how to do or shouldn't do!). She communicated clearly and efficiently with us throughout the planning process, coordinated with our vendors, and made sure to consistently check in with us. She provided detailed day of timelines, coordinated between all of our vendors, and was really supportive of all the different family dynamics. We also has some issues getting signage templates at the last minute and we told her, she created multiple options, we picked one, and she made the signage templates for us and helped us with printing! So she also has graphic design services to help with things like that.
While we appreciated everything she did leading up to the wedding, I have to say her day before/day of coordination was amazing! She really took everything off my plate in those final days/weeks and I am so grateful for that. She made sure neither myself, my husband, or my family was worried about anything the day of. My parents even tried to check in with vendors during the day and they said nope we are keeping your coordinator updated and will not be bothering family with anything! I really appreciated that. There were even little hiccups the day of that we (and guests) didn't know about because Courtney solved them all. One of our food vendors didn't have utensils (I found out later!) and Courtney made a quick trip to target during the wedding and the problem was solved and we never knew it had happened. She also picked out really cute utensils not just white plastic, which I appreciated, and it shows the level of thought she puts into every detail.
Courtney also provided some of our decor and made sure our venue was set up so beautifully. I was seriously blown away with not only how she made our venue look, but also how perfect she coordinated every detail. The whole day/night was so fun and stress free because we had Courtney. She was there until the very end making sure everything was taken care of. I would recommend Courtney (Tenzer Events) a thousands times over!
