We used Tanglewood for our ceremony, our reception, and for our entire wedding party accommodations. All I can say is WOW! While planning and booking my events, I worked with a few girls from the event coordinators on site. They were all sweet, very responsive, and answered all my questions with a smile. I think I called or emailed about 50 times, and each time they were just as helpful as the last! They even reminded me of things that I had not thought about. The wedding party and our families stayed at the Manor House for the weekend. Not only was this convenient, but it was beautiful! Each of our guests commented on how beautiful and sweet their rooms were. It was the perfect place for the whole party and family to gather. Breakfast each morning was great! We held our ceremony at Mt. Pleasant Chapel. This place was PERFECT for our ceremony! It was intimate, rustic, and original. It was the perfect size for our 90 guests, and provided the exact atmosphere my husband and I were looking for. We had our reception at Shelter 3. At first I was a bit apprehensive about having it at a park pavilion, but I would have my reception there 100 more times if given the chance. We added our own Edison String lights, some rustic rentals, and TON a candles. It turned out to be the most beautiful and romantic venue you could imagine. We received compliments the entire night about how romantic and fun the event area was. The large wooden shelter provided the PERFECT setting for our barbecue dinner, complete with a smore's bar, cornhole, and the perfect spot for a dance floor. Everything overlooked the water at Skipnot pond, and the golf course was also in view. As the sun set, the fountain in the water lit up, providing the perfect backdrop. If you are planning on a budget, I HIGHLY recommend Tanglewood Park.Sent on 08/29/2017
