We use only real ingredients including premium vanilla crush extract, callebaut chocolate, fresh dairy butter and artisan flours. We even make our own fondant. Loved working with Lucy at Sugar Pine who was recommended to us by Graystone Catering our event manager/catering company for our wedding. Lucy was easy to work with and flexible and very responsive.Sent on 11/05/2015
Ultimately we decided on a dessert bar and a small cake - two tiers that fed 40 guests - and Lucy was great as far as helping us determine just how much dessert to order without going overboard.
The tasting was outrageously delicious - and Lucy was great as far as describing everything, going over budgets, working with us on avoiding potential food allergy triggers (i.e., we had a nut-free dessert bar), and making sure we left ourselves enough time to get in our order without incurring rush charges.
The presentation of the table - which Lucy also came and set up - was beautiful and our guests fully enjoyed their cupcakes, brownies, mini apples pies and cookies.
Cant wait til 2016 for our anniversary cake!

Lucy Negrete was great at meeting with us and executing the perfect wedding cake for us!! Not only was it beautiful, but the guests raved about how tasty it was!! I think some guests even stopped by the bakery on their way out of town to pick up some treats!!Sent on 07/17/2015

Trish was awesome. Her cakes are awesome. We got married in Big Bear in July. We (I ...) wanted cupcakes for our wedding and Trish was fantastic about working with us. We sampled her cakes and so many were amazing. It was hard to choose. We had 200 guests so she recommended that we pick 4 flavors and use them as the centerpieces (great idea!!!). We ended up with Tiramisu, Cookies and Cream, Red Velvet, and Strawberry Champagne. We did our head cake (we put it at the sweetheart table) out of the Strawberry Champagne. It is AMAZING. I actually had a guest tell me she drove up the mountain a month after the wedding just to get this cupcake! Yes... they are that good. Trish is super helpful and nice as well.
