Alvin IS the BEST DJ out there! He knows how to get the crowd up and dancing, he vibes of the crowd and plays music that keeps you on the dance floor. Plus he's sooooo easy going!! When Alvin is in your presence, you can't help but smile!

Alvin and his family flew out to Oahu to DJ my wedding. I knew the moment I got engaged that I wanted to Alvin to DJ this special event! His beautiful wife, Jez, took care of all the details and was my the main point of contact for my vendors. She did this as a favor to me and everyone asked me who my "wedding coordinator" was and how I found her! She was soooo professional and just took care of EVERYTHING!

I am sooo fortunate that the Campueed Family made time for our wedding!

If you need a DJ for ANY occasion, ALVIN is your man!

Let me just say my calves hurt for 3 days after my wedding because I was dancing so much. Tim was our DJ and he did great getting the vibe of our guests and playing music that would keep us on the dance floor. He came out to our rehersal to meet with us and to figure out logistics for the ceremony and explaned what he would use at the ceremony and what he would use for the reception. There was also an online resource that you use to put in all your song requests and your wedding day timeline.

Communication was very poor to start with, so it set the stage for the rest of our relationship with our DJ. After asking him to be more prompt about responding to emails or phone calls, communication did get better and I thought we were headed in a new direction. Unfortunately, when it came to the after ceremony announcement to tell our extended family to stick around for pictures, that was not made. He then blamed it on me saying that I did not tell him to make this announcement, but it was on my schedule that I emailed to every vendor and wedding party participant. I know he saw the schedule, because he was using it to check things off during the day. Everyone else saw the bold red font to make the announcement, so I don't understand how he can blame that on me. I also had several requests for the reception as to playing a specific genre, a song dedicated to my sister and sister-in-law, and a song to do the Electric Slide to, all of which were not played. There were also NO slow songs played other than our last dance song. And after writing a negative Yelp review with all of this information, he emailed me to argue all the points, rather than just taking it as constructive criticism. I was not looking for an argument, as he already had our payment prior to the wedding and I was not asking for any type of refund or anything in return. He also mentioned that he was playing music that guests were requesting so that they would stay out on the dance floor (by which time we probably had about 20 people left because it was a Sunday evening wedding). Since when does guest requests come over the bride's? The only thing that was amazing was he put purple lights around the reception room. This did make me cry when I saw them and definitely enhanced the room. Still, I will not ever recommend this DJ to anyone.
