Allison was an amazing wedding planner and day-of-coordinator! Our wedding was very customized and non-traditional and we were planning it from across the country. Throughout the months of planning, she provided helpful reminders, creative suggestions, and much needed support especially when we were getting overwhelmed and stressed. On the day of our wedding, she took care of so many little details that we didn't even know or anticipate that we needed. We don't know what we would have done without her, as she helped make our wedding a success and such a blast for our family and friends!!!

In July, I was suddenly hit with the realization that my wedding was in three months, and I'd done virtually nothing to plan other than finding a venue. Enter Allison at Skinny Love Designs, who became my planning partner - and friend - in the ensuing weeks. She helped me turn my design vision into reality (which included transforming a very difficult space into an indoor garden party, complete with canopies of fairy lights), vetted and contracted with vendors, and thought through all of the tiny details that ultimately make or break an event. Allison was very attuned to working with me in the way I felt most comfortable - she is great about checking in to make sure the working relationship is what the client wants, and she is willing to either lean in heavily or take a lighter touch as the situation warrants. As a day-of coordinator, she was nothing short of brilliant - as my now-husband (who, not shockingly, was oblivious to the process up until about 72 hours before the wedding) noted, our gorgeous, fun, wildly successful wedding day would not have been possible without Allison in the background making sure that everything felt seamless both to us and our guests. If you are a bride who wants a planner that helps you make your ideas better, shares the workload in a way that feels organic, and doesn't try to impose her own vision and working style over your own, you could not do any better than Allison. She is the cool bride's ideal planner.
