Seed to Plate Catering did a phenomenal job catering our wedding! Many guests remarked that dinner was the best wedding food they'd ever had (Travis, the chef, even roasted a whole hog from their farm on-site at the venue for our pulled pork!). Our delicious menu also included: garden salad with seasonal accompaniments, heirloom tomato platter, southern succotash (with squash, okra, eggplant, green beans, and peanuts), mac & cheese made with local Ashe County cheese, locally-made yeast rolls, and AMAZING banana pudding for dessert. If local, "farm to table" cuisine is important to you, as it was to us, there is no better choice for your wedding food than Seed to Plate Catering.Sent on 09/23/2014

I can not praise Travis, Sarah, and their team of servers enough. Not only was the presentation of the salads and entrees beautiful, garnished with edible floral and all, but exceeded my expectations in the deliciousness factor. They were challenged with the strict rules of our reception venue. No cooking was allowed on premises, so I was kind of nervous about food being kept in the warmers. The food was absolutely to die for. My menu consisted Brunswick stew shooters and smoked trout with pimento cheese on grilled flatbread appetizers, Carolina pork BBQ or roasted portobello mushroom stack entrees, accompanied with seasonal vegetables, and garlic mashed potatoes. My guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. They even accommodated my starving musician Linda Chorney with additional servings of the BBQ.Sent on 10/11/2013
Their team even went above and beyond when they saw my sisters and friends struggling to finish the decorating on such a limited time. They pitched in, and helped so everyone could get to the ceremony on time!
Travis and Sarah, I am so blessed and grateful to have met you! You made our wedding dinner everything and more. We will call you when we return for our anniversary! This time we will just need a dinner for 2 and not 78!

Seed to Plate Catering offered the best fresh, local menu for our celebration. They had prepared enough food for guests and we had some people come up for thirds even! I cannot tell you how much they listened when they asked what types of foods that would be appropriate for our event. We said "mediterranean," "fresh," and something along the lines of "a good mix" and they put together the perfect menu.Sent on 10/04/2013
Oh and Chef Travis broke his foot the day before when the cow stepped on it and he was still there, ready to start grilling hours before! Dedication? A committment above all else? If you are wanting delicious food, excellent prices and a catering service that is professional, humble and delicious, Seed to Plate is for you.
