The San Diego Hall of Champions is the nation’s largest multi-sport museum, boasting three levels of memorabilia and 68,000 square feet. The Hall of Champions, located in San Diego’s Balboa Park, stemmed from the concept of the Breitbard Athletic Foundation.
The Breitbard Athletic Foundation was founded in 1946 to promote educational work, to encourage competition, and to recognize significant athletic achievement in San Diego. The San Diego Hall of Champions recognizes San Diego’s outstanding athletic accomplishments and traditions. Amazing athletes such as Ted Williams, Tony Gwynn, Bill Walton, Florence Chadwick and many more are honored in the Breitbard Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Champions also provides a backdrop for all types of events in an atmosphere of San Diego’s rich and diverse sports history. The Hall boasts a unique and spacious floor plan with three levels of rooms and exhibits. Additionally, our venue is equipped to handle complete audio visual, staging and lighting for any special occasion.

We debated between a few of the museums as Balboa Park before deciding on the Hall of Champions. We loved the space and that it holds so many people. The huge space also allowed us to do our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in the same place. It was perfect & unique!Sent on 02/21/2012
