Blake has been impressing people with his unbeatable DJ talents since receiving his first set of turntables in 2006. As a lover of all things music, he takes delight in expressing the beauty of milestone occasions through the medium of song. He developed his disc-spinning skills while working at one of Santa Barbara’s most popular nightclubs. In 2011, he moved back to Salt Lake City to serve soon-to-be newlyweds. Blake is the best! Super responsive out the gate, and an absolute pleasure throughout the experience ESPECIALLY day of. My wife and I were admittedly difficult to work with, answering his questions and delivering the information he needed at the last possible minute, but he rolled with the punches and delivered a perfect evening.
We had a pretty eclectic mix of musical genres and he mixed them perfectly. Our mothers ended up throwing in some wrenches and curveballs, and he perfectly acquiesced to ensure that they--and everyone else--were more than happy. We're still getting texts from our friends saying, "Was I just drunk or was that playlist the best?"

The Story
Way back in 2006, a budding young DJ received his first set of turntables for Christmas. Since then, he hasn’t left the decks and has been playing and mixing music privately and professionally.
Always having had a strong passion for music, the founder wanted to share his love of music and entertainment with the masses. And what better way than by helping people celebrate their biggest life milestones with the songs they’ve cherished, either for their whole life or for the last few months. We understand that music is the soundtrack to our lives, and we want to share that soundtrack and create new memories with the best music around. Our goal is to spread that feeling and the love of music to everyone at your next event.
In 2007, our founder moved to California to play collegiate baseball. Throughout his first year, he suffered injuries to the shoulder and the elbow, leaving him unable to play baseball any longer. He then moved to Santa Barbara, where you could say the rest is history. His DJ career took off with a residency at EOS Lounge, where he played weekly for locals and visitors alike in Santa Barbara.
In 2011, he moved back to Salt Lake City, where he has remained ever since. Just this year, he decided to turn his passions and his dreams into a reality by starting his DJ business, the Salt Lake City DJ Company. After having worked and played with some of the greatest DJs around, including Wolfgang Gartner, Felix Cartel, Global Deejays, Donald Glaude, Dave Aude, DJ Dean, Alan Nieves, Lubelski, and many more, it was time for the Salt Lake City DJ to make his debut.
The Purpose
After having thought about and planned for having his own business for decades and now with the launch of Salt Lake DJ company, offering the best event DJs in Salt Lake City, the founder is able to bring his love of music and gatherings to your most important events. Elevating gatherings from mundane to memorable is the name of the game, with the best lighting, sound, and music in the business.
