I was going to wait until I got my photos back from my photographer before I did my review because I wanted you to see how beautiful it was! Maybe it will let me update later because we are still waiting on photos and it has been close to a month. We have a few that our guests took to give you and idea.
First off, planning a wedding is hard, it is stressful and not fun at all, which was my experience. But of course I complicate things with my decision making skills. I went into this blindly not knowing what goes into it and it was overwhelming. I thank God that I found Angel with Rose Haven at Lake James. I was wanting a beach wedding at the oven but getting family there we felt wouldn’t be the easiest and the financial burden of hotel rooms. I searched for,”Wedding venue near water” and found Rose Haven. It just so happen it was on Lake James where my fiancé had grown up. We checked them out, found out they had only been in business for a few months doing weddings and so we decided to go with them, I fell in love with the beach area. In the end we decided not to go with the beach due to the steepness of 3 of the hills to get to it and the time it took to get down there. But the location at the top is stunning as well and you can’t beat the Table Rock view.
On the wedding day I was in awe at watching the staff work and get things done and when it came to me……..they went above and beyond to help me and make the process the least stressful. I couldn’t even get my shoes on and a staff member helped me put them on. For the life of me I can’t remember her name but she is an Angel herself. Everything went like clockwork, well as far as I knew, and before I knew it I was being loaded into Grady’s classic car (above and beyond) for him to drive me around to let me out to walk down the aisle. He was precious too, told me to not be nervous it was going to be ok and reached back to hold my hand. I will never forget that moment. It felt like a true dad/grandfather moment even though we weren’t related.
I did the “All Inclusive “ package and would not have done it any other way. It gave us from Friday to Monday with the venue. Friday night the guys hung out there for their bachelor get together and then we had time to get ourselves together before our honeymoon. I suggest you splurge for this package, they will truly step up for you through the whole process. Everyone.

We just got married here and I can’t recommend it enough. Great location, beautiful inside area, outside garden area and beautiful architecture, plenty of parking, beautiful view. It was my dream venue and I’m in love with it. Angel Rose, the manager, is amazing and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they recommend to you.

Rose Haven is a great venue with a beautiful view of Lake James and Table Rock. We were looking for a wedding venue when we decided to just run by and see if Rose Haven might be a good fit for us and as luck would have it we ran into Grady Rose, the owner who happened to be there working and overseeing work at the venue. He was so gracious and friendly. He gave us a wonderful tour of the venue and took time to give us all the interesting details and facts about Rose Haven. With that and the beautiful view we were totally sold…..it would be the perfect venue for my daughters wedding on May 20, 2023. Grady’s daughter in law, Angel Rose, is the manager and event/wedding planner for Rose Haven. She is very pleasant and does a great job. She had great suggestions and was very attentive to every detail for our wedding weekend. She made sure everything would go as smoothly as possible. Blake and Alex wanted their wedding outside overlooking Lake James. There was a possibility of rain happening on their wedding day so immediately a great backup plan for any weather issues was discussed and put in place which gave much comfort in knowing the wedding would take place overlooking Lake James rain or shine!! Fortunately, the weather cooperated! Both Grady and Angel are exceptional to work with and readily available for any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend Rose Haven venue for any event or for just a vacation getaway! Thank you both so very much for making my daughter and son in law’s wedding weekend perfect!!
