Kailina was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! She is one of the kindest,most caring people I met and one of my favorite vendors for my wedding!

I will admit that videography was not important to me (and my parents didn't understand why I needed it) but I would have been remiss to not have a video.

First and foremost for the rest of my life I will cry ugly tears at the absolute amazing video Kailina made for me. It was better than anything me, my husband, or my parents could have ever imagined. She captured our love story and our wedding perfectly.

Second - during the planning process, when I got overwhelmed I tended to shut down which meant radio silence for my vendors. Kailina was so kind and always asked if there was anything she could do for me, but also was completely understanding when I was MIA. When she needed something she would gently remind me and was always there for me to talk to when I was ready (and stressed).

Third - day of: Kailina was an overwhelmingly calming presence all day. From the moment she arrived at my hotel room she was was asking if I needed anything, reassuring me we were on time, and jumping into tasks that she did not have to do. She got amazing shots and worked flawlessly with my photographer (Tina Joiner - can't recommend her enough either!) Somehow at the first look and during the ceremony and reception she was everywhere all at once, but invisible too. She was absolute magic.

Lastly and perhaps the most important thing to me was the morning after my wedding I woke up and she had already made reels and posted them. Laying in bed next to my.bew husband I was awestruck at the beauty I was able to see less than 12 hours after the wedding.

Honestly- save yourself the stress and book Kailina now! You will not regret it!

Wow! Where do I begin? Roots and Wings (Kailina, owner) did such an amazing job capturing ALL the details of our wedding.
But, let me start with this (just in case you are debating it too) - I almost didn't add videography to our wedding plan. I thought..."we'll have the pictures - that'll be enough." Wrong! It's not enough. I'm so happy I decided to add it - for so many reasons. I'll explain why, but first - why Roots & Wings (R&W)?

It only took a few scrolls on her Instagram page and checking out R&W YouTube channel to know this was EXACTLY what I'd want for our highlight reel. The creativity, the quality, the attention to detail - all were spectacular! I'm no easy sell on video either, having worked in the television news business as an executive producer and always paying attention to those editing details. I was impressed with Kailina's work!

So why is it a must? Brides! Read this - there are so many parts of your wedding day you will never see or remember. You won't see your mom and/or grandma being ushered down the aisle to Canon in D. You won't see your handsome soon-to-be husband wait for you to grace your way down the aisle - the incredible look on his face. You won't see your adorable ring bearer and flower girl walk your pups down the aisle. You won't even remember what (or if) the string quartet played any music! You won't know how amazing the grand entrance at the reception was - because you won't get to see it from the vantage point of the video cameras. There are soooo many things Kailina will capture that you may not even remember happened - or know how beautiful it was at the moment.

One of my favorite moments she captured was when my dear friends prayed over me and with me in the bridal suite before the ceremony. What a beautiful moment to have forever!

Find a way to fit it in your budget - I worked my business a few more hours a week to make this happen in my budget. I have ZERO regrets! It was worth every hour, every dollar!

You will wait for the perfection you will receive - not only is it an industry standard to wait a few months for photography/videography - you are waiting for the best quality out there! You will NOT be disappointed you chose R&W to capture these precious moments of your wedding day!

PS - if Kailina asks if you need anything for the day of your wedding, ask for mimosas. LOL Seriously, it's like she's family at this point. You'll feel the same way, too!

Kailina is AMAZING!!!! The best decision my husband and I made was to hire her and her team as our videographer for our wedding. We started our list with 150 guests but ended up only having 14 as plans had to change due to COVID and even with such a small ceremony and a smaller window of time she captured everything so elegantly! Our highlight film is heaven on earth and we and our families couldn't stop crying the first 5 times we watched. We are so lucky to have these videos for the rest of our lives and to share with the generations to come! If you are on the fence, jump down onto her side because this is the person you want on your team for such a special day! I can't say enough great things about Roots and Wings Productions! Not only did she capture our day so well you can feel all of the raw emotions, she helped with ideas and was so flexible with changes as we planned our wedding during 2020 and we all know how fun that was! She was such great support during the planning, and then we dropped to the floor in awe at her creation in our highlight film. Bottom line: this is the videographer you want to capture a day you will want to remember the rest of your lives! Thank you Kailina & team!
