History

Rooster Ridge Vineyards' name predates Tim and Julie's decision to start their own vineyard. The story begins with 100-day-old pheasant chicks that were ordered through the United States Postal Service and delivered to a "well-heeled" subdivision. The birds were soon moved to a country pen so they could become independent before being released on what is now Rooster Ridge Vineyards.
