Located on the banks of the Connecticut River, the Riverside Hotel offers four floors of luxury with thirty-four exquisite rooms and suites.
Many rooms have private balconies, all have waterfront views and offer unique amenities such as King size SleepNumber beds, large flat-screen TVs, exotic hardwood floors, refrigerators, safes, irons & ironing boards, iHome alarm clocks, free high-speed wireless internet, continental breakfast, and a fitness center.
Spa services including massage will soon be available to guests, and a dock is scheduled to be built in the spring, providing a harbour for visitors’ private boats and a launch for the hotels’ own river cruises.
Our large conference/banquet room, the Viviane Veranda, is perfect for wedding receptions, parties, banquets, business meetings, or any special occasion. A wall of west-facing french doors open onto the veranda, filling the room with warm afternoon light. The veranda, which runs the length of the hotel, is privy to many beautiful riverside sunsets.

Beautiful location for a wedding and reception. Planning was less than beautiful. Communication was hard at times and delayed. While the weekend of our wedding, the owner and manager were great, in the months leading up to our big day were interesting. We blocked off rooms for our wedding guests, and ourselves. We waited to make sure all our guests had the rooms they wanted and that they were happy. In doing so, a non wedding guest had managed to book both the 3rd floor suites while they were still blocked in our wedding booking. I was furious. After our wedding, they were incredibly helpful in helping us pick up and get cleaned up.Sent on 08/28/2016

We booked rooms at the Riverside Hotel for us, our bridal party and a few guests after the wedding. I met with the owner on two occasions to discuss details, but was provided no written contract. The day before our wedding we realized that none of what we discussed with the owner was known to the hotel staff. Poor communication and lack of professionalism. A beautiful hotel in a great location, but I would strongly recommend getting any details IN WRITING if you are thinking of using this vendor. They also do wedding receptions on site, which I suspect would be beautiful. We also had a few issues with the breakfast bar being stocked, and the staff not being helpful regarding help with phone / hot tub problems. Seems to be understaffed at this time. Hopefully in time this will be a great place to stay or have a wedding, but get ALL conversations with management in writing. Beautiful rooms with fantastic TVs, beds and balconies. A great view, great for pre-wedding photos.Sent on 09/01/2009
