Ricardo Filipo is a freelance guitarist, with a master degree in music and technology, he plays guitar since 1967.

Ricardo has played as a soloist performer and in colaboration with Duda Anizio, Paulo Pedrassoli, Turibio Santos, Paulo Moura, Elder Parente and many others musicians. Ricardo performed in the best Brazilian theater, TV, Radio and recorded some CDs and LPs like "Orquestra Rio de Violões", "Orquestra de Violões do Rio de Janeiro", Carinhoso", "Navegar é Preciso" and recorded some pop music and jingles.

Ricardo Filipo was born in Rio at 1960. At 80's studied in Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with Turibio Santos and Odair Assad. At 1985 begins work at Brazilian Music Conservatoire where he create a new curricula of the Guitar Graduation Course. At 1990 born he Brazilian Guitar Duet with Duda Anizio. Now Ricardo works about music and technology and lives in the United States where he seeks to spread Brazilian culture and music.
