Head up 23 floors to Rare View, the stunning rooftop bar and lounge that features 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline. Known as a hidden gem in Chelsea, Rare View's retractable roof brings a level of luxury most other rooftops can't offer. Guests will sip seasonal cocktails under the stars as they admire iconic views of landmark buildings such as the Empire State and Freedom Tower. The laid-back ambiance combined with the beach decor creates the perfect atmosphere for a memorable rooftop event.

When guests arrive at Rare Bar & Grill, they will be escorted up to the rooftop lounge. Upon arrival, attendees will be welcomed with passed hors d’oeuvres, which will be served for the first hour of the event. For the entirety of the event, guests can mix and mingle while enjoying a premium open bar and 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline.

We had our wedding reception at Rare Rooftop at night, it was an amazing experience, top to bottom. The views are incredible, the service was great, everyone was helpful and friendly. Everything the night of was amazing. We had ~125 people and there was plenty of space (no seated dinner, just drinks, dancing, and lots of appetizers). We loved it, and had a great time.

We did all of the decorating and prep ourselves, and everyone was pretty responsive in letting us in and around the site beforehand.

All in all, it was an amazing experience, we had a great time, all of our guests loved it (or at least told us they did :) ), and we wouldn't do anything differently.

I planned and booked this venue for our wedding after party from Australia, we had no problems corresponding over email and everything that we requested the venue delivered. Overall the experience with this venue was amazing and our guests enjoyed the views and night without any hassles.
