Powerhouse Café and Catering is a wedding catering company based out of Boston, Massachusetts. Proud to be a nationally certified women-owned business, the company is managed by Heather DeBerio. She founded the business in 2015 with the goal of creating a company that empowers women in her community. Another main priority of the business is to offer catering services that are as high-quality and eco-friendly as possible to couples. Heather and her team do their best to purchase ingredients from local farms when possible, resulting in fresh, delicious dishes for special occasions.
Cuisine
Powerhouse Café and Catering is happy to design customized, seasonally inspired wedding menus based on what local farms have to offer. Heather is pleased to provide couples with a number of cuisines and serving styles to meet their unique visions. Family-style buffet options range from DIY tacos to platters of short ribs and apricot-glazed chicken. For dynamic dining experiences, live-action stations can be set up with on-site chefs preparing stir fries and crepes. Inspired by regional cuisine, BBQ or clambake options are available. Individual plates can also be provided with alternative meal selections for those celebrating with dietary restrictions.
Services Offered
For dining experiences that are as seamless as possible, Powerhouse Café and Catering takes pride in offering additional services. Heather and her team can provide staff to set up, serve, and clean up any celebration. For support from start to finish, a day-of coordinator can join the catering event manager. Floral, decor, and event rental options are also available.

Powerhouse catered our wedding, and they were very friendly and easy to communicate with. We worked together to figure out what we needed, and it all came together great! I'd recommend the apricot stuffed chicken and the brownies, especially!
Team
Heather started Powerhouse as a fresh pressed juice company back in 2015. With a background in catering and events and a loyal juice customer basis, Heather decided to try her hand in the catering world and it worked! From there Powerhouse Café and Catering started. Heather is a skilled and creative chef, and highlights her love for fresh and local ingredients in all of her cooking. Outside of work Heather loves family time, meditation, and pretty much anything outdoors!
Laurel Morano manages all of our sales and events. She started event and menu planning at just 15 years old and has experience in corpoate, social and wedding event planning. She is extremely detail oriented, making sure every aspect of your day is perfect! Out of work Laurel loves gardening, baking and spending time with family.
