Peter Fox is a jazz and adult contemporary solo vocalist based in Washington, DC, performing nationally for a variety of corporate and private social events, galas, ceremonies and theatrical functions. He recently released his self-titled debut CD with a spectacular launch concert and party at Washington DC's John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In addition to a regular schedule of contract engagements and gala events, other credits include the role of "Teen Angel" in a recent production of Grease, numerous GMCW appearances (a major DC choral group), solo cabaret roles in area shows such as American Songbook - A Cabaret, Everything's Coming Up Sondheim, Wait 'til You See Him, Stops Along the Way, Let Me Be The Music (along with the accompanying 2006 CD release), Home Cooked Cabaret, and many others. Last year, he sang in the back-up ensemble for Josh Groban and Heather Headley at the president's "We Are One" Inauguration Concert.
Peter has performed at Washington DC's Kennedy Center, the Corcoran Armand Auditorium, the Lincoln Theatre, the Tivoli Theatre, the Rosslyn Spectrum, GW's Lisner Auditorium, Bethesda's Imagination Stage, the Odyssey Dinner Cruise Fleet, The Theatre Lab, The Arts Club of Washington, The Verizon Center, RFK Stadium, Yale's Iseman Theatre, numerous embassies, hotel ballrooms, convention facilities, government halls, museums and churches, and many other premium venues. He recently completed the intensive International Cabaret Conference at Yale University, a 10-day master performer's workshop. Past credits also include a three-year performance run with the close-harmony pop a cappella groupPotomac Fever, and regular variety show performances with a professional troop entertaining at senior citizen homes throughout NJ.
