Parkway Marina's outdoor wedding venue is located on Smith Mountain Lake nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The setting includes a five-acre point surrounded by water with breathtaking views of both the lake and mountains.

The Point at Parkway Marina also includes a covered pavilion measuring 81’ by 31’, with a stage at one end for a band or DJ. The pavilion can be enclosed in the event of inclement weather. There are twelve picnic tables, two round metal mesh tables with five chairs each, and two mesh cocktail tables. There is a small climate-controlled building with both air conditioning and heat which houses two bathrooms and a staging area with a refrigerator. There are three portable bathrooms as well as floating docks for guests arriving by water. Parkway Marina is also wheelchair accessible so all your loved ones can join the celebration.

Optional rentals include a nostalgic, antique carousel; a wooden, parquet dance floor; outdoor patio heaters; and to accommodate your dining set-up or caterers, a commercial warming oven and commercial refrigerator/freezer.

Parkway Marina is available for many different wedding events, including the ceremony and reception as well as rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and engagement parties. Elopements are also welcome, with a minimum requirement of only two guests.
