Located in Chicago, Illinois, Outside the Box Catering and Events Inc. is a full-service catering and wedding planning business. Their eclectic menus are full of delicious, soulful dishes inspired by cuisines from across the world. Owner Tameka Jones has over 15 years' experience in the hospitality industry, and was inspired to start her own business in 2012. Her goal was to fill the void between beautifully-presented meals and delicious cuisine, aiming to create dishes that taste just as good as they look.

Outside the Box Catering and Events Inc. offers an eclectic menu filled with soulful deliciousness, unique wedding packages and a variety of other unconventional catering services. In addition to providing beautiful buffets of tasty dishes, we are here to simplify the event planning process for hosts seeking a one stop shop solution. We are devoted to the craft of creating beautiful memories, whether it's an office party for 20 or 300 guest wedding soiree we've got it covered. We take a holistic approach when planning events, from invitations to last call we will ensure that your BIG event is one to be remembered.

We offer packages for cocktail receptions, buffets, and plated dinners, as well as day-after brunches. The cocktail package includes a choice of three stationary appetizers and five passed appetizers. The buffet package offers a choice of three appetizers, soup or salad, three entrees, and a side. If you opt for the plated meal package, you'll have a choice of three appetizers, soup or salad, one entree, and two sides. The day after your celebration, you can enjoy a delicious brunch featuring shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, southern vegan skillet, scrambled eggs, fruit, and more. Spice up your party by adding on a bar package. Choices includes the signature or cocktail bar package and a BYOB package. All packages include white-glove table service, china tableware, framed table numbers, votive candles, and a designated event manager.
