Some years ago I noticed a lack of quality binders available on the market, especially those destined to house memorabilia that would be kept for a lifetime or even generations, such as wedding photos. As an avid woodworking hobbyist it was my thought that such a binder, in order to last generations, should be made out of wood, particularly fine hardwood. Although in no position at the time to start such a business due to a full time job, after retiring and still finding few quality binders on the market I decided to begin building them myself.
My specialty therefore is building heirloom wooden 3-ring binders for whatever memories you are trying to preserve for yourself and your posterity, whether those memories involve a wedding, photo album, personal/missionary journal, scrapbook, new baby, family recipes, Christmas/Hannukah traditions or for any other purpose. These binders are 10.5"X12" (taking normal 8.5"x11" paper/dividers) and are made of the finest hardwoods. They will, if taken care of, last many generations. The hardware is brass-plated (piano hinges and D-style 3-ring mechanism). Upon ordering you will choose the hardwood from which your binder will be made. You will also choose the title (and font) of your binder and supply the photo or image you want to go on the front cover, which will be mounted within an attached wooden frame. If you decide to order one of these heirloom binders it will be a decision you will likely not regret. Simply go to my website to place your order. As this will be handmade to your specifications at least 30 days lead time is necessary. If you have any questions please feel free to call/text me at (702)749-4415 or send an email.
