Growing up in the city of Queens, Newyork the beauty industry immediately became an interest for Orphelia, starting at a young age teaching herself to braid and style hair she quickly became known as the beauty queen of her family as she always wanted to play a role in their hair, nails, and clothing needs. Hair has always been apart of her life no matter where she went, relocating with her family from Newyork to Florida she was known in her school and community as the "go to" for hair care needs. While in college pursuing her degree she felt as if there was more she wanted to do in life, she then inquired of Cosmetology schools in her area and learned of the Aveda Institute where she competed for a once in a lifetime opportunity to win a full tuition scholarship to attend the institute. After winning the competition she knew this was the path she must pursue, since then she has worked to service a variety of clients in her area giving them top of the line hair service until she one day completes her ultimate goal of opening her own full service salon The most important things about Orphelia that make her stand out, are an excellent work ethic, professionalism, and most important the ability to always have a positive attitude! These qualities she has mastered through an extensive back ground in customer service and sales in addition to studying psychology in college. Finally yet very important is her back ground in cosmetology which has given her the self direction and motivation to be responsible when conducting business while self employed.
