O'Day Discovery Lodge At Burdette Park is a 170-acre estate that offers picturesque views of Southwest Indiana. Here, you can say 'I do' in an indoor or outdoor ceremony surrounded by those you love. From the pavilion-style exterior to the manicured gardens, there are ample beauty spots for your wedding photographs. Evening receptions are held inside the rustic lodge. This airy space is characterized by high wooden ceilings, beams, and polished wooden flooring. There is ample parking available on-site for your guests' convenience. The various chalets located on the grounds can be hired for exclusive use during your time here. The experienced team welcomes to-be-weds to mark every stage of their romantic journey at the lodge, from rehearsal dinners and bridal showers to the all-important wedding day.
Max Capacity is 650 guests, with tables and chairs provided.
The O' Day Discovery Lodge is a 'non-preferred" venue. This ensures renters have the ability to use any vendors/services they chose. Inlcuding cateres, alcohol providers, DJ's and wedding planners.
*If you are serving alcohol, you will need to hire a Vanderburgh County Sheriff Deputy to be onsite duirng serving hours.
Rules and Guidelines
1. Renters are responsible for removing all trash and personal items from facility by Midnight CST.
2. Renters DO NOT have to break down table and chairs. (Our maintenance team will do so.)
3. NO real candles. (Flameless only)
4. Scotch Tape and thumbs tacks only, on the walls.
5. DO NOT mark or stick anything to the floors.
6. NO sparklers, fireworks, or pyrotechnics of any kind.
7. NO Glitter ior confetti nside or outside the facility.
8. NO Music can be played through Disocvery Lodge speakers. You can use them for announcements and ceremony vows.
