Newport Vineyards is a rustic wedding venue and historic vineyard located in Middletown, Rhode Island that is situated on 75 acres of historically preserved farmland. With a romantic setting and ample space, this venue is perfect for a wedding of up to 150 guests.
Facilities and Capacity
Newport Vineyards hosts wedding receptions in the Meadow Room, which overlooks a sea of vines. Your cocktail party can be held on the Vineyard Porch, which is a covered three-season porch ideal for intimate celebrations. You can also host your rehearsal dinner, wedding brunch or bridal shower at the Brix Restaurant or any of the other memorable vineyard settings.

Before I even got engaged, I knew I wanted to have my reception at Newport Vineyards. Fast forward to touring and meeting with the coordinator Maris, I was sold! Maris was an absolute pleasure to work with. She handled everything with ease especially during times of uncertainty. She always kept in touch with us and answered any questions or concerns we had. Maris was even great with our parents, who had their concerns as well due to COVID. As our big day approached, we had a lot of changes due to guests unable to attend but she was on top of it and reassured me there was nothing to worry about. On our big day, she paid attention to every detail to make sure it was everything we wanted! Maris made sure my husband and I had drinks in our hands and food on our table at all times which was great because as the bride and groom you definitely forget to eat! Maris was more than we could have asked for to coordinate our big day!
The food was in a class of its own. The majority of our guest are picky Italians but Chef Andy and his crew was up for the challenge. We are still having guests call us and rave about how amazing the food was! Not only was the food amazing, but the way each course was presented just made you not want to eat it! We also added a pasta course because you can’t have an Italian wedding without pasta (lol) and wow! I ended up asking for another bowl because it was so good! We also had the pastry chef make our wedding cake and it was everything I had envisioned!
Maris, Chef Andy, and staff, we cannot thank you guys enough for making our day so perfect! We wish we could do it all again with you guys!!-

I had the pleasure to photograph a gorgeous Christmas themed wedding at Newport Vineyard last December, and I was SO pleased with how the whole night went! First of all, it is a gorgeous location and offers so much variety. The couple did portraits in the vineyard at sunset, and directly afterwards performed their ceremony in the tank room at twilight. The mix of natural & rustic with industrial & metal was something different and very special. The staff was extremely helpful and made sure the bride & groom, their families and guests were well taken care of. Everything flowed seamlessly! I highly recommend checking this venue out - your guests will love it!
We had a great experience here. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the wine was great! A trip back can not come fast enough!
