About
HELLO THERE! So Happy to have You Here!
We are Justin and Christine, and we like photographing weddings, traveling anywhere, and pizza. And sometimes at weddings, we dance.
Together we’ve been photographing weddings for nearly a decade, and we specialize in making rad photos. We use a super-secret combination of humor, harnessing amazing light and two people in love. All you have to do is provide the people!
The clients that hire us want photographers who want natural, journalistic-style photos of their wedding day so that when they look at their photos years later, they can hear the laughter. If we seem like the kind of people you’d like to have a beer with, chances are we would be a good fit for you. We’ll even show you our killer dance moves.

I’m often described as laid-back, and I attribute that to a few things. First, when you grow up in a dairy town of fewer than 500 people, life moves a bit slower and you learn to notice the little things. Second, when you’re the last of 6 kids you learn that being laid back means you can sneak your siblings Halloween candy and they never suspect it’s you. All of these weird life skills have made me a photographer who can calm the nerviest bride or groom and get photos you’d never suspect.
I thought I was going to be a world-famous journalist traveling the world taking photos of animals in exotic locations, but once I photographed my first wedding I knew this was the career I never knew I wanted. A few years later I convinced Justin to join me and I could not have a better partner to photograph weddings with. It doesn’t matter if we’re photographing in our home state of Wisconsin or around the world, our goal is to create amazing, stress-free photos. We seriously have the BEST clients!
When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m probably barefoot (I hate socks) and plotting either our next meal or our next travel adventure. Or rewatching one of the Jurassic Park/World movies!
I’m a willing sidekick, the guy who hands you a beer from his camera bag when you need it most, and I’m not even a little bit embarrassed to tell you that I can pin a boutonniere like a BOSS. I’m always happy to turn up the music to get the party started. If all else fails, I can entertain everyone with my vast knowledge of movie quotes. I keep it PG for grandma, when necessary.
On the wedding day, I’m also the guy climbing the tree for the perfect angle. As Christine photographs the main events, I’m using my ninja-like skills to get the story behind the story. Our dynamic duo combination is like the perfect burrito…the kind where they get all the layers just right, and the sour cream is never at the end of the burrito.
Any day is a good day when I can make Christine laugh, when I can spend some time in nature, and when I can eat Mexican food.
