Facilities and Capacity
Couples can celebrate their wedding day with up to 200 attendees. There are indoor and outdoor options at this venue for a couple’s wedding. The patio is a lovely space for a ceremony during warmer seasons. Upon this courtyard patio of stone, couples will find unique backdrops for their ceremony, from a wooden set wall to a bright red door built into a house of dark stone. While the outdoor spaces offer plenty of quirks and privacy for a couples wedding day, they can also choose to have the ceremony in one of the many intimate rooms in the inn. The Nassau Inn has one large ballroom for couples, with a number of other smaller event rooms. The Prince William Ballroom, the largest space, features a wooden dance floor upon the carpet, polished wooden molding around a white ceiling, golden chandeliers, subtle golden wallpaper, and other antique accents that add charm and romance to a couple’s wedding reception. The more petite Palmer Room is also available for couples’ wedding-related functions, from an indoor ceremony or an intimate reception to a shower or engagement party. This versatile room has only the limits of a couple’s imagination.

History
The Nassau Inn began as the Nassau Tavern in 1756, when it was built by Judge Thomas Leonard. Following his passing, the tavern became an inn and welcomed many famous guests. This included the likes of Paul Revere, Robert Morris, and Thomas Paine, a guest who frequented the establishment. Through times of peace and war, surplus and hardship, the inn has stood its ground, making the facility the perfect location for couples to build their foundation of a new life.
