I'm so glad I got to work with Michelle for my wedding. Her styles are incredible and she is so talented. One of my favorite things about Michelle is she's super committed to raising the bar and learning new things when it comes to hair styling (check out her instagram!). Michelle is super to work with. Michelle is an incredibly skilled hair design artist and an awesome person. When I came to Michelle for my preview, I had a vision for my hair and couldn't quite articulate it yet. However, I showed her one picture and she new all the right questions to ask me and guided me through the process. She created a hair design that was better than I imagined and that made me feel like I was in a magical fairytale. Not only is she an incredible artist but her presence and energy helped create a positive and relaxed tone while getting ready. She was both calm and organized and jump right into the jokes and stories my friends and family were sharing. I could not have imagined choosing anyone else to design my hair and be apart of creating such a magical day!!

If you are looking for a hair stylist for your wedding, run don’t walk to book Michelle. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle for my wedding. She styled me, my mother, my mother-in-law and my two sisters-in-law and each one of us had such a fantastic experience and left her chair looking beautiful, but also feeling like we looked like ourselves – which is the ultimate win on such an important day. Along with exceptional hair styling abilities, Michelle also possesses such warmth and inordinate patience – traits that set Michelle apart from most event hair stylists.

Before even booking, Michelle took time to connect with me by phone, which was very appreciated and put me immediately at ease. I am a firm believer in talking to your vendors before you book to get a sense of whether their vibe matches your vibe, and Michelle was a total fit. I left our call with complete confidence I wanted to move forward.

For my big day, I was looking for a simple bouncy blowout, but elevated enough for a black-tie affair. My mother was looking for something similar. We are ladies who know what we want in the hair department but also very much what we don’t want. Michelle welcomed both my mom and me for an in-studio trial for us both and, in addition to assuaging any nerves on our end, listened incredibly closely to our wants (and do-not wants) and even welcomed us back for a second trial when I tweaked my inspiration photo approaching the big day. Michelle nailed the done, but undone, look for both my mom and me. We were both beyond thrilled with how our hair came out, and it lasted throughout the night (despite end-of-summer heat, and without globs of hair spray – Michelle knows her products). Michelle also has serious range. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law have naturally very curly hair and Michelle was able to handle their hair as proficiently as mine. While Michelle can handle any intricate style you throw at her (check out her portfolio), if anyone in your wedding party is looking for simple, clean styling – which has to hit the mark – Michelle can absolutely make your vision a reality. Also – she is such an amazing hype woman on your big day. So happy with my decision to book Michelle.
