Maxwelton Braes Lodge is a historic wedding venue located in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. Built in 1929, this charming lodge is situated in the middle of an 18-hole golf course, near the shores of Lake Michigan. Facilities and Capacity
Couples can hold any size celebration at this impressive lodge and golf course. They offer two beautiful outdoor ceremony locations to choose from. After making a grand entrance through the stone lodge doors, you can exchange your vows under a grove of maple and chestnut trees. This unique spot is aptly titled, The Grove. Or, you can say your “I do’s” on their gorgeous, Stone Patio, complete with a hand-crafted fire pit. The golf course will serve as your backdrop, and you'll be surrounded by a wrought iron fence. You can also tent this unique space, and use it for your cocktail hour and/or reception. For an indoor affair, they offer the lodge’s entire second floor. The Lodge Mainroom features exposed beams, a wood fireplace, a dance floor, and a baby grand piano. There’s also a cocktail area with a large private bar. You can comfortably seat up to 175 guests in this beautiful space, and can inquire further for larger parties.

Their experienced staff will assist you with your personalized room and table layout, as well as act as your liaison with Thyme Catering, their on-site catering partner. They'll work with you to create a custom menu and beverage package that suits your individual needs and desires.
This unique lodge offers enough guest rooms to accommodate up to 95 of your loved ones. Couples and their guests may choose between the Rustic Fairway Suites, one and two-bedroom lodge suites, deluxe lodge rooms, basic lodge rooms, and two large, off-site homes that can hold up to 18 people.
