Facilities and Capacity
This beautifully maintained building offers five event spaces situated on 80 acres of land. Marymount Event Center can provide for all sizes of wedding celebrations with their Gymnasium space capable of hosting up to 500 guests. Parties will feel transported to a simpler time in this space, surrounded by mint-condition classic cars and memorabilia. String lights and classic car signs adorn the walls giving a feeling of the past in the present. Smaller parties can choose to host their celebration in the Orphan Room, which hosts a collection of Americana memorabilia to add a classic twist to your day. For ceremonies, this venue provides the classically styled chapel. For those that prefer an outdoor wedding event, the Marymount Event Center features a variety of stunning lawns and landscapes ideal for hosting your celebration. Couples can choose from the East Lawn, Center Lawn or Sculpture Garden for their ceremony or reception, with these locations providing ideal settings for stunning wedding photography.
Marymount Event Center offers a range of wedding packages to suit your needs with all packages including three planning sessions, a one-hour rehearsal, tables and chairs, decor items, and day-of coordinator. This venue is happy to work with outside vendors to create the day of your dreams at their historic location. This property also provides the additional service of vintage car rental service for wedding photography purposes, giving you the opportunity to center your photo shoot around the sites classic car collection.
Originally a farmhouse situated on a 100-acre farm, Marymount Event Center was purchased in 1919 by the Sisters of St. Dominic and transformed into Marymount Military Academy in 1923. Upon its opening, only 30 boys attended the academy, with this number reaching 120 as the years progressed. The school thrived until 1975 when the upkeep became too much for the sisters. The property was sold to Harold LeMay in the 1980s, who promised to preserve the property and maintain it under his ownership. Harold used the space to house his growing collection of classic cars and Americana memorabilia. Today, Marymount Event Center operates as a not-for-profit organization, hosting events and tours to preserve and maintain the memorabilia within the property as a gift for generations to come.

Trudy was a great help very patient and knowledgeable in helping me plan our wedding. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Everyone was courteous, helpful and flexible in helping me pull off a beautiful day! Trudy helped me snag my "soon to be's" dream car, as a surprise, to drive him into our outdoor ceremony. We were able to dress up the tables and chairs the evening before, allowing me to be pampered and relaxed the morning of. Tara helped us pull off timing of cars and music and ensured the entire evening went well.Sent on 10/11/2014
The entire crew came out to assist with clean up and were so friendly! Absolutely LOVE this venue and can not wait for another visit!
