Thank you for your interest in Marathon Village. Our Event Space is located in a 100 year old factory. It has an antique oak staircase leading up to the third floor. The space itself has exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows with a view of the Nashville's downtown skyline. The series of old brick factories that make up Marathon Village house a combination of offices (mainly creative arts such as photographers, designers, Lightning 100 radio station, etc...) and retail (consisting of the popular American Picker's retail shop, gift shops, candy store, hair salon, tattoo parlor, etc.).
Our Room With A View is located on the 3rd floor of 1305 Clinton Street. The capacity is approximately 200 people. We can comfortably host a sit down dinner for 150 guests.
We rent the space for $2,500 a full day 9am to 1am. It requires a $500 deposit (fully refundable as long as all cleaning criteria is met: take out what you bring in, trash bags to the dumpster out back). Dates are NOT reserved until we have received the $500.00 deposit. We require a liability insurance policy for up to $1,000,000 for the day of the event. This is a pretty simple thing to get through your insurance company. If we are not booked the day before and you would like to have more time to set up for the event, the price is $1,000 (9am to 5pm).
We also rent out tables and chairs for $8 a table (5ft rounds: 15 of them total $120) $2.00 a chair (150 = total $300), Cocktail 30x30 tables $5 each 6 of them ($30 total) and $5 each for five 8ft, two 6 ft, and two 4 ft. rectangular tables ($45 total). We do not rent out linens.
We don't have a list preferred vendors, so the catering is 100% your choice. We have a reach in cooler, ice maker, sink (no food allowed down sink), 3 trashcans, and hot box in the catering area. Alcohol is allowed, but absolutely no selling alcohol or serving to minors.
There is a stereo system hooked up with 1/8" cable in the room where a DJ can plug a computer or you can bring in your own equipment.

Wedding of my Dreams!
Marathon Village allowed me to have the wedding I dreamt of! It was a gorgeous venue with the string lights and exposed bricks plus the view of Nashville's skyline you can't get anywhere else. It was the perfect room to fit 115 people and had plenty of space to dance. Victoria and the staff were lovely to work with and had an answer for everything.Sent on 02/25/2019

The venue is beautiful. We were going for a vintage look, and this definitely fit the bill. The lighting is low, but we used string lights and chandeliers, and it definitely helped. We had approximately 150 guests, and we used 15 round tables and 4 8-foot rectangle tables. There was plenty of room for a small dance floor, a photo booth, and serving lines for the food. I highly recommend this place. I also loved the fact that I could choose my own vendors. The one thing I would say to be aware of....there is no elevator, and the venue is on the third floor. Your guests must be able to climb stairs, and vendors may charge an additional fee because of it. There is also an option of renting the space the day before to decorate for an additional fee of $700.00. If it's in your budget, it's a very good idea to do that. All in all, I love the venue and Kelly was very easy to work with. I highly recommend Marathon Village! :)Sent on 06/13/2017
