The Luckey’s Jewelers legacy began in 1955 when Luckey and Rose Marie Weaks followed in his father’s footsteps, and made a life-long dream come true. Their dream was to share a love for creating timeless, unique jewelry with others in a welcoming, educational, and family-oriented setting. They made this a reality by opening a manufacturing-retail jewelry store in the Bijou Theater building on Main Street in Houma. Upon the demolition of the Bijou, Luckey’s Jewelers made another Main Street location their home until 2008. At this point, with new family-owners Spencer and Juanita Weaks, Luckey’s Jewelers moved to its current location on Bayou Gardens Blvd. in Houma.
Today, with four in-house jewelers, we have grown and are now working with our 4th generation of the business, Taylor and Aaron Weaks. Since then little has changed and we still go by the simple principles that rooted our company nearly sixty years ago.

Spencer is the best! We brought in my parents' diamond and he set it in a gorgeous one of a kind setting for us, No Problem! They are all really nice and helpful, and let you go in for cleanings as often as you want!Sent on 06/08/2014
