I cannot say enough about the Kimpton Goodland. Seven weeks before my wedding day, our venue fell thru and we were forced to find a new location and basically everything else. I started immediately calling venues but 1) nothing felt right for us as and 2) everything was booked out a year and a half. Everyone told us we'd have to just push our wedding by a year or two... but that is not what we wanted. Not only would we lose a lot of money on the non-refundable photographer we already paid and other vendors we already booked but we were excited and ready to get married and celebrate with our friends and family who already had their flights booked, as well! We decided we had to make it happen on original date and then I came across the Kimpton Goodland online. Olivia Inks, the catering sales manager who is nothing short of amazing, told us we could absolutely do a wedding here and on our date! I was in shock. She just said "Yeah! We can make that happen!" It was so easy! And we were off. My amazing mom, Olivia, Zoey Koster (the sales and catering coordinator at the hotel), Chef Nick, Maximo, Dane, Alex, Jamie, Afton, Allison.... they all came together to pull off the most BEYOND perfect wedding for us in 7 weeks!!! People literally plan for a year and a half what my mom and these incredible people did in less than 2 months. And everyone at the Kimpton Goodland worked tirelessly and with a smile to make sure that all of our guests had the best 3 day stay and experience. We literally were always asking for something and they have the best attitudes and personalities of any people in Customer Service that I have ever seen. And I am proud to say that my wedding had the best food that I have ever had at any wedding I have attended, best music, best reception room -you have to book the Rincon Room -and just most fun vibe! From the awesome pool with a DJ playing great songs to the little bonfires you can sit around with your friends and family... this place is just the best!Sent on 09/29/2016
