Kerri Lynn Townsend, owner and designer at Kerri Lynn Designs, has a passion for elegant, timeless gowns that incorporate beautiful fabrics and unique construction techniques. She loves to make a woman feel like the Belle of the Ball! Her love of fashion and sewing began at the young age of five with the help of her Grandma Alice, a seamstress at Oshkosh B’Gosh in their home town of Oshkosh, WI. Kerri decided to turn her passion into a career by attending the Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago. After completing her design degree in three years and graduating at the top of her class she accepted a position working as one of six Patternmakers for Marc Jacobs’ women’s collection in New York City. Later, she moved to Minneapolis and began her own bridal fashion business - Kerri Lynn Designs!

Kerri was an absolute dream to work with.Sent on 06/01/2014
From day one of the event, where she designed the dress specifically to me, she listened to all of my fears:), concerns and wishes.
What she created was spectacular.
Kerri is the designer you always dreamed would come along. Humble. Hard working. Meticulous.

Kerri was a fantastic designer and so easy to work with! I was able to help design my own personal, one-of-a-kind wedding gown made partly from my mom's wedding gown and from other materials we purchased. It made my wedding even more special.Sent on 05/25/2014

Kerri designed and crafted a beautiful christening gown using both my mother and mother in law's wedding gowns. Her unique details and focus on quality made the dress absolutely beautiful. My daughter looked gorgeous! Kerri also designed and sewed a tutu for my daughter for her newborn pictures. I wasn't able to give Kerri much notice as my appointment was change. Kerri was able to complete a stunning pink tutu with a matching headband within a weekend and ship the items to me in time for her pictures. I have both the christening gown and tutu saved for my daughter and will hopefully be able to pass those items on to the next generation.Sent on 06/08/2014
