We had such an incredibly positive experience with these guys, we couldn't recommend them enough.

We got referred to Jeremy from one of our coworkers who used him for his wedding a few years back. Jeremy got a bit of info from us and then gave us the details of all the different options/pricing and photographers on his team (including some sample shots for each photographer). Ultimately we ended up choosing with Braxton and the whole process was a treat!

Braxton got in touch with us to get an initial idea of what we liked/wanted when we originally booked several months before the day. Two months out, he reached out to set up an in-person meeting to hash out all the details. He really helped us give shape to our day. At that point in the process, that structure helped to coordinate other vendors down the stretch. It was also just nice getting to know him and build a bit of a relationship before the actual day.

After that meeting, he had us fill out a form/survey to help us define the actual shots/locations we wanted. He was great about confirming what he interpreted from our responses and also offered suggestions to help simplify and improve on what we were thinking.

Two weeks out we met up again to finalize shot lists, locations, and timelines. We ended up at this point wanting to add a second shooter, and Braxton was able to coordinate the whole thing with short notice. He also did a good job of just assuring us that everything was going to work out well.

On the day off, we just had a blast with Braxton. We chose to do all the pictures before the ceremony, and so leading up to the ceremony, we basically just hung out with Braxton, Jordan (the second shooter) and our wedding party and everyone had a great time. At the ceremony and throughout the night, Braxton did a fantastic job making sure we got all the group shots we wanted and grabbed us for a few specific shots when the sun went down and the light was, "perfect.". From the previews, he sent a week after, he got a lot of great candids and other shots too.

Really, Braxton was the best. Going into it, I don't think we knew how much the photographer was going to impact the flow of everything. Braxton gave us structure, but in a way that fit our specific tastes and interest. He's a good guy, a great photographer, and absolutely a wonderful choice. I'm sure the same is true of everyone on Jeremy's staff too!

Braxton and Alice at Jeremy Lawson Photography could not have made capturing our wedding day any easier. They made being in front of the camera feel natural and fun. The pictures we got back were beautiful and they caught all the small moments in between shots. When you know the photographers will be with you the entire day, you want people who make you feel comfortable and also pump you up when you need it. They kept the energy up in front and behind the camera and we could not have asked for a better experience.

Working with Braxton Black was one of the best decisions we made in our entire wedding planning process. Leading up to the wedding, we had several conversations with Braxton about what we wanted from our wedding (not just photography) and it was clear how important it was to him to help us work towards that goal. We were both a little nervous leading into our wedding day, but Braxton's personality, professionalism, and character truly helped us relax and get us started right. The event photography was fantastic -- we really wanted to capture our friends and family in a casual, natural light and he nailed it! Fun, heart-warming, everything we could ask for!
