Sherri Beeker Photographer and Owner
Being the owner of my own business has given me the opportunity to enjoy a hobby I have loved for over 25 years. Photography is a very creative medium that is instant and lasting.
I was a Manager of the Prepress Department of a business forms printing company for 20 years. In working with the prepress procedures in layout and preparing photos for printing, this has given me the background for post production of the photographs. In short, retouching and enhancing your photos to look spectacular. When this company closed in July of 2011, I started full time in building my business.
In taking the photography course with the New York Institute of Photography, the course has given me the knowledge to process light and composition.
I am originally from Salisbury, North Carolina. Now I live with my husband and daughter in Lexington, NC. We have been married for 19 years and our daughter is my heart. I have recently finished my new photography studio/office and I love working from home. It gives me the flexibility to spend time with my family and a work environment that is a pleasure.
