We hosted our welcome party at LOA, which is the lobby bar at the international house. They were able to reserve a back portion of the bar for our welcome party for a nominal fee if we met a certain number of hotel reservations in our room block. We had welcome bags to hand out and they were transported to LOA earlier in the day. When our Welcome Party "greeter" arrived the manager of LOA knew where everything was and was ready to help the greeter move the bags to the right place. The drinks were really good, and even though there was a lot of people at LOA for the party they were able to service all of us very timely and in a friendly reminder. It's also a very beautiful bar in a very beautiful lobby. It was a great way to start off the wedding festivities.Sent on 05/02/2016

After the event was over all of the little things seemed to be water under the bridge but there where still problems that no one should have to deal with on their wedding day. No rooms where ready for my guest when they arrived (after I had requested early check-in for those guest), many of the guest rooms had problems with the air conditioning (including mine). The agreed upon room rates where changed on us about 6 weeks before the wedding. On the day of my wedding the ballroom also had problems with the air conditioningSent on 09/29/2010
