I am so incredibly happy that I chose the InterContinental as my wedding venue! We chose the hotel because we wanted to have our ceremony on the Sky Lawn. This is a massive, open air space on the 5th floor with views of the water and Miami skyline. The space is breathtaking and we were very much looking forward to our ceremony there. Unfortunately, it rained on my wedding day and the wedding had to be moved inside. The hotel staff (more on that later) could not have possibly been more helpful and accommodating. They knew that it was so important to us to get married on the Sky Lawn, and they waited as long as possible to make the rain call. Once it was decided that our ceremony would have to be inside, they went above and beyond to make the backup ceremony space look absolutely beautiful and romantic. I was blown away by how perfect the space looked. Our reception was in the Bayfront Ballroom, which is just stunning. It has floor to ceiling windows with views of the bay and is such an elegant room. But, in all honesty, the best thing about the InterContinental is the staff that worked with us. Ana Maria is unbelievably talented, has impeccable taste and judgment, and is one of the most responsive people that I have ever worked with. Whenever I emailed her, I got a response back within minutes. I trusted her implicitly, which made everything so much easier in the days and months leading up to my wedding. The hotel's chef and kitchen team were also incredibly talented. I have long thought that wedding food is, necessarily, bad because you cannot cook good food for 200 people at the same time. The InterContinental's team proved me SO wrong. The food was absolutely delicious, and I am super, super finicky about food. I recommend this wedding venue so incredibly highly!

This is our favorite hotel in South Florida and we were so excited to have our wedding in their Bayfront Ballroom. Gorgeous view plus wonderful staff. Everything went smoothly and perfectly thanks to the hotel's expertise. Most beautiful hotel in a great area!!

The most amazing venue in Miami. This venue is by day the craziest and most beautiful sight for a wedding. the bay front ballroom is gorgeous. My guests fell in love with the beautiful views of the Miami skyline. Ana was the best to work with and made my day a whole lot easier. I honestly do not know what i would have done with out her. Thanks to the intercontinental Miami i had the most beautiful that exceeded all of my expectations!!!

I loved getting married at the InterContinental in Downtown Miami. Having all of the venue rooms close by, like ceremony, cocktail area and reception, made the whole night flow so nicely. It was very easy for all the guests to flow throughout the areas as the night progressed. I also loved working with Ana Marie as well as Michelle, as they were both SO helpful in making it a perfect day for me :)

Jennifer Paulino was the greatest person on earth! she was fun and delicate and she just made everything so easy. Everything she promised for our big night was done and she was there until the very last minute making sure that everything was perfect. I can not say enough nice things about Michelle Makin at the InterContinental Miami! I was to actually be friends with her and not just one of her brides!! She is one of the nicest people I have ever met! She sincerely cares about the events she is in charge of! Every aspect of planning my wedding was made stress-free becuase of Michelle! I have never experienced better customer service! My wedding was perfect, the food was amazing and the staff was so nice!!! I felt as though everyone I met throughout the process cared about my event and would do what they needed to make it perfect, and it was! I highly recommend the venue and the staff! Anna Gonzales in reservations, made it so easy for me to deal with many reservations from MANY out of town guests! My day was absolutely perfect, the hotel was gorgeous and I credit The InterContinental and Michelle Makin for making it all possible! I cant wait to return!!! ashley howard
