Haven on the Banks is a premier beach wedding destination location in Nags Head, NC servicing the beautiful Outer Banks. Located just a short walk from Nags Head beach, Haven on the Banks features a cottage court (6 houses with 24 bedrooms) and an on-site venue, Keeper's Galley (accommodating over 200 guests). The cottage court and event center can be rented together or separately. It truly is a one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive property that is ideal for hosting unforgettable wedding celebrations.
Keeper's Galley Event Center
Keeper’s Galley is Haven on the Banks’ spacious 4,200-square-foot event center and can comfortably accommodate up to 200 wedding guests in its beautiful indoor space. The fully climate-controlled event center features over 2,350 square feet of flexible gathering space, beautiful vaulted ceilings with exposed light beams and a electric fireplace accented with stone. It boasts a beautifully decorated bridal “get ready” suite and groom's den where couples and their wedding party can get ready in style on their big day. The venue also comes with a fully-equipped caterer's prep kitchen. Adjacent to the property is another beautifully, landscaped courtyard space with an outdoor bar and trellis that offers options for your beautiful day!
Cottage Court at Haven on the Banks
To enhance your guests destination experience, Haven on the Banks offers six (6) fully appointed four-bedroom cottages that accommodate a total of 54 guests between all 6 houses. EVERY house is full of customized amentities to build a personalized experience for guests. The beautifully landscaped property also showcases a large pool and tiki bar.

I can't recommend this venue enough. The space was absolutely gorgeous and Nancy, the concierge, was able to pair us with local vendors on short notice to make our event incredible. They were incredibly flexible with our group and willing to accommodate any of our needs. It all started with a bike ride!
We are your hosts, Tara and Gerry. We married in 2016, with both of us bringing together children from previous marriages. As a newly married couple, we wanted to tackle something new together - something we could create - something that would hopefully make a difference in our community. So, we went for a bike ride!
One beautiful Sunday afternoon, as we rode our bikes down the beach road, we observed several tents scattered along the route. We soon learned there were six wedding in progress! The idea for Haven on the Banks and Keeper's Galley was born!
