Hart Gallery

Hart Gallery is a stunning art gallery and events venue in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Founded by Ellen and Jay Heavilon in 2010, this nonprofit serves homeless and non-traditional artists by providing them a space to create and share their work. Ellen was first inspired to start this project by a local public art piece featuring homeless artists. She developed a plan to supply art materials and classes to local shelters, and in 2010 purchased the Hart Gallery building to make a central space for the project to grow. Now, the gallery features a variety of homeless and budding artists whose work is changing the community in many positive ways. The gallery provides a beautiful, meaningful space for you to celebrate your big day, surrounded by the beauty and creativity of your own neighborhood. Facilities and Capacity

Hart Gallery offers a large industrial-modern venue space for weddings of all kinds. The main event space features rustic brick walls and exposed metal beam ceilings. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a peek into the bustling streets of the outside world, while your guests lounge in the gallery’s comfort with beautiful artwork around every corner. You will have space for approximately 40 seated guests or up to 75 for a cocktail style reception. Tables can also be set up outside for guests to get some fresh air and enjoy cocktail hour. You will have access to a prep kitchen for your caterer, and several event rental options to complete your package.

Services Offered

Hart Gallery wants to ensure you and your guests have a fantastic experience throughout the wedding evening. You’ll work one on one with the wedding coordinator to determine your overall plan, your rental needs, and the timeline of your reception to ensure everything runs smoothly. Table and chair rentals are available for very affordable prices and can be set up any way you like. You may choose your own caterer or cater yourself.
