I was really excited when I met Greenscapes at a local bridal show. They were so personable and had some really great and out of the box ideas. They had some wonderful rustic themed items that we really loved and fit our theme perfectly.
Everything started out great, they were quick to respond and worked with me in picking each individual flower for the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. It was so personal and they really seemed to listen and were open to my ideas.
That's when it all just fell behind. The consultation was in late January/early February. They told me that they would have the proposal ready in about 2 weeks, I did not receive a proposal until April after inquiring SEVERAL times. Once everything was given the go, I was told that I would have to make a $25 deposit which was easy enough and we made it very soon after.
I had some concerns that I wanted to discuss in person, I attempted several times to meet with the person that I had originally met with but never received a response back. I never had a meeting with said person.
About 2 weeks before the wedding I received a phone call stating that they failed to send me the contract that needed to be signed and accompanied with the final amount. I was sent a contract and I mailed it back to them with the check of the rest of the amount after the $25 deposit. They lied about receiving the contract but not the check and the owner was conveniently unavailable to assist in solving the matter. In addition, I was told that the $25 was a holding fee and not a deposit. To end it all, in the initial consultation I said very clearly that I wanted all of the bouquets, mine and the bridesmaids to be very large. Mine were great and beautiful but the girls were TINY. I overlooked it for the day but it is still bothersome that my expectations were not met in any way. My bouquet, the boutonnieres and corsages were beautiful, but not worth the hassle. Reasonable priced, not worth it. I am truly disappointed.
