Green Frog Farm

Green Frog Farm, based out of Alamo, Tennessee, is a historic wedding event venue that features a country chapel, log barn, and beautiful outdoor settings. Hosting memorable events in a variety of settings, this gorgeous event space features exposed beam ceilings, an original log barn entryway, and wrought iron chandeliers that all work together to create a rustic and industrial, yet elegant, setting for wedding couples and their guests.

Facilities and Capacity
With the capacity to host up to 150 guests, Green Frog Farm contains fabulous event spaces that allow couples and their guests to celebrate in a rustic chic setting. Latham Barn is a beautiful event space that features a wall of windows, french doors that open to a bluestone patio, and views of a nearby small lake. This space also features exposed beam ceilings, and original log barn entryway, and wrought iron chandeliers. May Chapel, originally built in the late 1800s and repaired after a fire in 1957, features restored details like hand-hewn log beams and original pews. This space seats up to 100 guests and is located in convenient proximity to Latham Barn. There are also additional outdoor settings available, including the popular lakeside gazebo that offers Southern beauty year-round.

Services Offered
Green Frog Farm offers services to bridal showers, engagement parties, and wedding ceremonies and receptions. The venue includes convenient access to a bridal suite for the bride and her bridesmaids to prepare for the day. Guest accommodations are also available, and the venue provides cleanup services. The venue also offers convenient parking and wheelchair access.

History
Green Frog Farm, originally built in the late 1800s and restored with period details like exposed log beams and original pews, is the result of one man’s dedication to preserve West Tennessee’s agricultural heritage. Dr. John Freeman had been a missionary in Thailand for 10 years when he returned to Bells, Tennessee and began collecting and restoring log cabins. Green Frog Farm just so happened to be one of those buildings. Today, the venue host a variety of wedding events and other social gatherings.
