Gianna Cortese is a talented and experienced florist, floral designer and artist based in Reggio Calabria, Italy, who creates stunning and original wedding and special event arrangements.

Gianni Cortese's story has distant roots going back to my childhood. Flowers always held a special fascination for him, a magnetic force whose call he felt increasingly over the years. When it was now clear to him what I wanted to become, I did not hesitate to go down this path made of petals and fragrant flowers.

A little history: who is Gianni?
He opened his store on December 4, 1999, starting with bonsai. Soon, he started working with flowers, and they have not left him since. He started attending refresher courses, traveling to discover new techniques, and studying more about the plant world. His training only ended once he finally realized his dream of becoming a Floral Designer, following a path under the guidance of Peter Hess in Basel.

A professional's experience, all for you
His journey continues to this day. But you know, the best journeys are the ones we take with others. That's why he decided to put what he had learned during his studies to use, and from there, the Floral Designer's Handbook was born.
Soon after, the Floral Academy was born, through which he realized another dream: to teach. In his academy, he met many fantastic students who, like him, have a strong passion for this magical world.
