About Galion Historical Society

Built in 1867, Historic Grace Church was located on the grounds of Brownella Cottage. The Bishop’s mother-in-law paid for the church to be moved to its present site on Union Street in 1893. Historic Grace Church is now listed as a National Historic Landmark.

Featuring a beuatiful sanctuary with all of the original woodwork, Grace Church combines old-world elegance and charm with a romance.
